This is the home page of www.motors.ie and www.hyundaidirect.ie . The company was established in 1976 by Raymond and Marcella McIntyre and through hard work, innovation and determination over the years, has remained at the forefront of the industry.
Over the years, Westmeath Motors 
has gained a reputation for forward thinking, customer satisfaction and a dedication to excellence in all we do. Today the company is managed by Noel and Ray McIntyre with the aim of continuing these traditions. This coming year the company will celebrate 45 years in business.
Today we are the midlands premier Hyundai dealership and operate a suite of complementary services on site including, supplying contract hire and fleet management to businesses across the country. Westmeath Motors Fleet Services exclusively manage the fleets for some of Irelands best known companies. The group have also diversified into the discount retail sector bringing the country’s first franchised BuyLo retail outlet to the market which is trading very successfully. BuyLo offers a range of household branded goods to customers at wholesale prices. Westmeath Motors have also been a franchised Shell service station which later became Topaz since our inauguration back in 1966.
On site the operation now employs 46 people and remains one of the midlands longest serving employers. Many successful motor traders in the midlands have cut their teeth under the guidance of Ray McIntyre Snr over the years before going on to set up their own businesses and the company remains at the forefront as a training ground for staff wishing to enhance their career prospects.
